Global Balance Acupuncture

Dear Patients,

We will be returning to our office this week. And our hours will be by appointment only. Office hours will be adjusted accordingly. Tuesdays and Thursdays: starting at 1:00. Saturdays: 10:00 to 3:00. However, we are scheduling longer intervals between patients, as it takes longer to sanitize the rooms. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. The health and safety of our patients is our number one priority!

When you arrive for your appointment, please wait in your car and we will wave you in when the office is clear. If patients feel comfortable, they can wait in the waiting room, so that option is available to you. Patients are reminded to be advised if they have a fever, cough, or are not feeling well please seek regular medical attention. Also, when you arrive for your appointment please wear a mask.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but appreciate your understanding during this time. We look forward to once again giving you the wonderful balancing treatment and relieving stress, insomnia, and anxiety that is associated with this pandemic. We look forward to seeing you and serving you. Thank you for your past patronage and support. We greatly appreciate you.

In health and best wishes.

Dr. David Chow, L.Ac., M.S.O.M., AP, D.N., LDN

“There are many benefits to acupuncture, one of the most immediate of which is a balancing of energy and emotions. This is typically evident even after just one treatment. Traditional Chinese Medicine allows the element of balance and healing that promotes a great sense of well being and peace. Together we can work to achieve an optimum state of health that does not rely on chemicals, but on natural principles that have been proven over thousands of years.”

Acupuncture is a method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and improve function. This is done by inserting sterilized, stainless-steel needles (that are as fine as a human hair) into specific points located near or on the surface of the skin which have the ability to alter various biochemical and physiological conditions in order to treat a wide variety of illnesses.

Acupuncture is also used as a preventative medicine. Many people see their acupuncturist only 2-4 times a year for a “tune up” or “balancing” treatment. This can prevent disease and promote health, energy and vitality.

The origins of acupuncture lie in ancient China and can be traced back 5000 years. It is used to prevent and treat mental and physical disorders restoring the body’s natural balance. The first Chinese Medical Textbook was written 2,500 years ago, more than 400 years before the Chinese made the first paper in the world.
